Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
There is no configuration information for the PCCARD "\".

This event occurs when you insert a PC Card for which Windows NT 4.0 does not have drivers. However, the driver does not calculate the size of the event log entry date, and this may cause an access violation in Services.exe. See ME299364 for a hotfix applicable to Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.
I think it's an unrecognized PCMCIA card. f you go to the Control Panel -> PC Card applet and select Properties for the unknown card, the card shows that it doesn't have a data base entry and that the driver is not installed. The driver file shows as "Unknown.sys". Not sure, but it could be normal behaviour for a card that is plugged into a laptop PC Card slot without being configured.
