- Error: "You do not have the permissions required to complete the operation. occurred during address generation" - We solved the problem by changing the service "Logon Account" of the "System Attendant" service from local system to administrator.
Error: "An error occurred during file replication. Unable to find a file with the correct version number. To view details of the error, see the application event log in the Windows NT Event Viewer on the Microsoft Exchange Server computer. occurred during address generation." - no info
Error: "The Microsoft Exchange Server computer does not respond. occurred during address generation." - Problem fixed after an integrity check.
Error: "An error occurred while processing an email address. To view details of the error, see the application event log in the windows NT Event Viewer on the Microsoft Exchange Server Computer. Microsoft Exchange Administrator ID No. c1030b35" - See ME151668, ME156093. From a newsgroup post: "I solved the problem by restarting the server."
Error: "You do not have the permissions required to complete the operation. occurred during address generation." - We got this error when trying to create a mailbox on our exchange server. We thought the permissions were correct, but we found out that we were using the local administrators group for permissions at the site and organization levels instead of the built-in administrators group. As soon as I made the change, everything worked correctly.
