Event ID: 5012 Source: ELNK31

The I/O address supplied does not match the jumpers on the adapter.
This is caused by the driver not automatically setting the Bus Type and Card Type for PCMCIA during the installation of Windows NT Workstation or Windows NT Server with a 3Com EtherLink III (3C589B) adapter. During Setup, it defaults to ISA Bus Type. See ME141715 to solve this problem.
See the link to "EventID 5012 from source ndis" for details on this event.
According to Microsoft to work around this problem, shut down and restart Windows NT to re-initialize the network adapter driver with the device. If the problem persists, use another network adapter. See ME123816.
