Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
The Active Directory topology service could not discover any route to connector <connector> in the routing tables with the timestamp <date> <time>. This connector will not be used.

If this is recorded after an Exchange upgrade, EV100290 (Your Solutions - Fix Exchange 2007 SMTP Connectors with ADSIEDIT) describers how to use ADSIEDIT, and delete the "Main SMTP" connector manually.
A restart temporarely fixes the problem in my case. Still looking for a solution.
