MCSCAN32.DLL is missing from the engine directory or is corrupted.
From a newsgroup post: "I searched for MCSCAN32.DLL on the PC and it didnt exist. I checked where it should be on another PC, and found it at "c:\program files\common files\network Associates\engine". I went to see what was in this directory and found that under "common files" there was a file called "network associates" rather than a folder. I have no idea how it got there, but it was obviously preventing the creation of the folder during install. I deleted the rogue file, reinstalled McAfee Vs7, and all is well".
