Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

Failed to create KnownFolderManager. Folder redirection can not be performed. Error details: "Access is denied.
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
From a newsgroup post: "This is a common error. It deals with the ownership of the My Documents folder. For some reason with the new Windows 2003 folder redirections that were added, the My Documents has to be created by the user on their first login so that they own the folder. Now for me, I create the My Documents folder in the User Manager when the users are created and therefore the owner of the My Documents folder itself is Administrator.
You can do one of these things:
1. Redirect based on group (which for some reason works for me and I have 2400 users redirected where all the My Documents are owned by Admin).
2. Make the user an owner of their My Documents folder.
3. Under Folder Redirection, unclick the Grant Ownership check box".
