Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

Older entries from NAI Antivirus Software that are present in the registry can cause this problem.
1. Make sure that NAI Antivirus Software is completely uninstalled. Delete old folders under "Program Files\Network Associates" and "Common Files\Network Associates"
2. Make sure that "Config.Msi" (hidden folder) is blank.
3. Delete NAI services with SC.EXE from the ResourceKit.
SC DELETE NaiAvFilter1
SC DELETE NaiAvTdi1
4. Start REGEDT32 and navigate to HKLM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetBT. Under DependOnService, TCPIP and NaiAvFilter1 are present. Remove NaiAvFilter1 only.
5. Restart the system.
