Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
The servers FSSERV01 and FSSERV03 both claim to be an NT Domain Controller for the CORPDOM domain. One of the servers should be removed from the domain because the servers have different security identifiers (SID).

What is a SID?
What is the role of the Netlogon share?
"BlackBerry Support Article Number: KB-02642" provides information on this issue.
The easiest way for this error to occur is to install a domain controller while either it or the other domain controller is disconnected from the network or off-line. This will create a domain with the same name but it will have a different security identifier (SID). As far as Windows NT domains, machine accounts, and trusts are concerned, you have created a new domain. The problem domain controller must be re-installed when it can connect to the primary domain controller.
