Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. ME968355 provides an example when in certain conditions, this event is NOT recorded as it should be. A hotfix is available for Windows 2003 Server.
As per Microsoft: "An object was accessed using a handle. This event is associated with the Security 560 event, which indicates that a handle was successfully created for the object. The Security 567 event is logged only when the corresponding Security 560 event indicates success". See MSW2KDB and ME325898 for information on this event.
