Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

Veritas Backup Exec version 8.6, when it runs the Network Storage Exec option, cannot handle passwords that are 14 characters or more in length. See ME891531 and "JSI Tip 8825" for details on this problem.
I tried to reattach with the same user and nothing happened. Then, i tried with another user (a backup operator), and the problem was solved.
I had this when the service account password had changed but no one had changed the passwords on the services. Services were running but not backing up, logging this error in the event log.
