As per Veritas: "The event was reported in the Application Log because the Backup Exec Job Engine encountered an inconsistency in the data format on the media while attempting to catalog media using the "Media Based Catalogs" option. This issue could be resolved by configuring Backup Exec to not use the "Media Based Catalogs" option and running the catalog job again". See "Veritas Support Document ID: 253611" for more details.
