Situation: When you run LiveUpdate from an internal LiveUpdate site, you see the message "6005: LiveUpdate did not complete\r\nLiveUpdate did not complete because Symantec is preparing new updates for one or more components. Please wait 10 minutes and run LiveUpdate again."

Solution: If you are in a corporate environment and are running LiveUpdate from an internal LiveUpdate server, you should use the LiveUpdate Administration Utility to retrieve new and previous updates.

If you are not running LiveUpdate from an internal LiveUpdate server, and you have LiveUpdate version 1.7, you can resolve the problem by uninstalling LiveUpdate, removing the LiveUpdate folders, and installing a newer version of LiveUpdate.
