Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

What is the role of the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service?
After you move an organization's public folder content to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, the public folder content expiry stops working because of a design limitation in the database maintenance thread. See ME923692 for a hotfix applicable to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.
As per Microsoft: "If the information store is very busy searching the directory for something, and is notified that an object in the directory that it was watching has changed, the information store may return a DS_E_TOO_LATE error". See ME268357 to solve this problem.
See ME183400 and MSEX2K3DB for information on this event.
Occurs when DS cache does not match current state. Cache gets rebuilt, so this is generally not an issue but may be a symptom of an overloaded server when the DS is very large.
As per Microsoft: "The IS handles this error by rebuilding the DS Structures in the cache so this error can be safely ignored". See ME178046 for more details.
