Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
Unable to enumeration of network resources. EC=invalid paramter

From a newsgroup post: "This error is resolved by setting the Discovery Service to have a dependency on the ARCserve Message Engine. Set the following registry entry using regedt32.exe. Under: /HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/ASDiscoverySvc
Add this value:
DependOnService: REG_MULTI_SZ: ASMsgEngine
Once this is set, reboot the machine whenever possible, and see if the error occurs. If this fails to resolve the issue, bring up regedt32.exe and go to the above location in the registry. Highlight the DependOnService value and double click, the Multi-String Editor will pop up. On the next line add "Browser", and then click OK".
I found the problem was it InoculateIT. It has a product called cheyenne, which is an antivirus program.
