Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
Error opening the configuration file: Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\EvLog 3.0\EvLog3Configuration.xml'.
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
This error indicates that the EvLog configuration file set for the scheduled EvLog analysis is not present. Verify in the EvLog GUI if the file is set to a correct value.
In EvLog 3.02 and earlier releases, the default EvLog configuration name (when a new one is created) was set to EvLog3Configuration.xml while the sample configuration file installed with EvLog was named evlog3config.xml. If the default settings for the scheduler service were not changed to reflect the correct configuration file, this error was recorded. The name of the default configuration file was changed to evlog3config.xml in EvLog 3.03.
