Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

This showed up on a virtual Vista installation (running on a Mac through Parallels Desktop for Mac). According to a user: "The problem was that one of the Windows DLLs was seemingly corrupted (I couldn't open regedit and had the error 'clb.dll contains an error'). A system repair didn't fix this but I copied the file from another machine. Then after regedit worked and activation issues went away. I guess the problem was that although Windows was activated under Boot Camp, it wasn't activated under Parallels. The corrupted DLL prevented activation which then caused me this load of other errors."
