Event ID/Source search
Keyword searchExample: Windows cannot unload your registry file
Event ID: 8848 Source: CPSHOST
User: <user>, Destination URL: <URL> The user does not have write access to the destination URL.
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
In my case, OWNER/CREATOR write permissions were missing on the parent upload directory since the MCIS HMI application dynamically creates the sub-directory inheriting the parent permissions. The error then occurs due to CPSHOST not having correct permissions. Always ensure write permissions are enabled in IIS for the upload directory.
