Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
Printer <printer name>/<computer name> Session <number> was set.
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
As per Microsoft: "These events are logged when a Terminal Services client with a local printer attached connects to a server. The server loads the drivers for the client's local printer to enable the client to print to its local printer from within the client session. To resolve this issue, adjust the Event log settings or turn off these informational events". See ME234330 for more details.
This occurs when one connects to a Terminal Server session and the local printer is mapped on the server.
