Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

What is MAPI?
- Error: "An unexpected, unknown error has occurred" - See ME828875, ME836883, ME839217, ME843279, and ME870599 to fix your problem.
- Error: "The MAPI call failed" - See ME264119.
As per Microsoft: "The mailbox could be corrupted. It is also possible that the specific message(s) could be corrupted". See MSEX2K3DB for additional information on this event.
As per Microsoft: "This problem may occur if the mailbox that Exchange 2000 is trying to move contains a damaged message. The message is located in the folder that the error message mention". See ME318726 to resolve this problem. In addition to the comments presented in ME318726, I also exported the mailbox to a PST file deleted everything from mailbox and then moved the empty mailbox. After this I imported the PST back in since user needed all his mail.
The user's mailbox that is trying to be moved to another server has a corrupted email in it. There are other possible causes of this error, but this is the only one we have run into and fixed. We fixed the issue by having the user archive and then delete as many messages as they could do without then trying the move again.
