- Error code: "Database is in inconsistent" - This problem is caused by an inconsistent database. Run eseutil /p <database file>, and try to remount the database.
- Error: 0x80040102 - As per Microsoft: "This issue can occur because the computer account for the Exchange 2000 computer does not have Full Control permissions on the server object". See ME299680 and ME328674 to fix this problem.
Error: 0x80004005, error details: "Failed to configure MDB." - Seen in connection with Event ID 9175. The advice from MS was to run Exchange 2000 "setup.exe /DomainPrep" and restart MSExchangeSA service (this will restart IS and MTA as well). Check article ME316709 for further info.


Error: 0xfffffde0, error details: none. - As per Microsoft: "The Last Backup Set check box was not selected during the restore, so hard recovery was not run.". See ME253931 link below for more details.
