Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

What is the role of the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service?
This event can be logged without cause in Exchange Server 2003. See ME904945 for details on this situation.
From a newsgroup post: "There is a corrupt message in the Store. The Fid is the folder ID where the corrupt message is located in. The Mid is the message ID of the corrupted message. To resolve these errors:
1. Exclude Exchange server folders from virus scans. See ME245822 to troubleshoot an Exchange computer with Antivirus software installed.
2. Run ISINTEG -fix against the databases. See ME301460 for more details on Exchange command-line parameters for the isinteg.exe tool".
