Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

What is causing the “The description for Event ID ( … ) in Source ( …. ) cannot be found… “?
This event is recorded when the Google Update Service is either started or stopped. The last part of the event indicates if it was a start or a stop. Along with this event, recorded in the Application log, there should be events id 7035 and 7036 from Service Control Manager stating that the Google Software Updater has been started.
