Event ID: 10000 Source: Desktop

The description for Event ID ( 10000 ) in Source ( Desktop ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: [ExtensionManager::acquire_connection] Extension requesting device connection. Synchronize.
This is a blackberry desktop manager error. It may contain several different error messages, such as:
...Stop Worker Threads.
...Extension requesting device connection. Synchronize.
...Extension start failed. Device Switch Wizard.
...Extension requesting device connection. Device Options.
...Extension start failed. Backup and Restore.
...legacy extension initialize failed. WebLink.

These errors seem to be a by product of installing DM while an antivirus product is active, removing the antivirus product prior to installing DM then setting up the blackberry with DM now fully installed and then reinstalling the AV product seems to resolve this problem.
