Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

This event simply indicates that the computer woke up after being in stand-by. In itself, this is not a problem but the event may be recorded as a side-effect of other problems. For example, in one instance, the computer would go on stand-by and then wake up in 30 seconds without any reason. This event was one of those recorded in the event log even though it did not provide any information about the reason of the waking up. In that particular case, the problem was fixed by updating the firmware of the video card (the relevant event was event id 6 from ACPI).
