Event ID: 1052
Event Source: MSExchange Extensibility
Event Type: Error
Event Description: Failed to create agent factory for the agent ''Avira TransportAgent'' with error ''Failed to create type ''De.Group.Msx.Backend.TransportAgent.MailAgentFactory'' from assembly ''C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira\AntiVir Exchange\Bin\De.Group.Msx.Backend.TransportAgent.dll'' due to error ''Invalid agent assembly path.''.''. Please verify the corresponding transport agent assembly and dependencies with correct version are installed.
Comment: After deinstallation Avira doesn’t unregister it’s transport agent(filter)

Solution:
Launch Exchange Management Shell and run following commands:
[PS] C:\>Get-TransportAgent

Sample output:
Identity                                                              Enabled         Priority
--------                                                                 -------         --------
Connection Filtering Agent                         True            1
Content Filter Agent                                      True            2
Sender Id Agent                                              True            3
Sender Filter Agent                                        True            4
Recipient Filter Agent                                    True            5
Protocol Analysis Agent                                True            6
Avira TransportAgent                                    True            7
Transport Rule Agent                                     True            8
Text Messaging Routing Agent                  True            9
Text Messaging Delivery Agent                 True            10

Here we see the agent is still registered so we simply need to remove it by running following command:
[PS] C:\>Uninstall-TransportAgent -Identity "Avira TransportAgent"
Warning appears type Y and hit enter
Then start the transport service manually.

Hope it will save the nerves to a bunch of people who have tried the trial version of Avira anti-spam/anti-virus solution
