Event Type: Error
Event Description:
Event Type: Error

Event Source: Windows SteadyState
Event Category: Windows SteadyState Service
Event ID: 1105
Date: 2011-04-26
Time: 03:01:00
User: N/A
Computer: LOUNGELIZARD
Description:
Automatic updates failed while trying to run Microsoft Updates.

For more information see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Comment: SteadyState was attempting to run its nightly download of Microsoft update (scheduled at 03:00). Log entries beginning a 03:00:01 indicate that it got kicked off on time and disabled users as expected at 03:00:11 the update process proper was started as a service there were about a half dozen other log entries that were presumably related to its startup this 1105 message appears at 03:01:00 disabled user accounts were re-enabled and the system was rebooted. All of that appears to be normal behavior except possibly the automatic update failure and even that may be due to some "normal" condition but I've found nothing that enumerates possible causes. (I just installed SteadyState and this is the first time I've run it overnight.)
