This error typically occurs when a component is trying to access a property or method of an object but they are not defined. An older version than expected may be the cause of this. It could also indicate that a certain required software is not installed. If for example a program is trying to update the Exchange mailbox settings of an Active Directory user and there is no Exchange installed this error may occur as the Exchange Mailbox properties are only added to a user object when Exchange is installed.
