SENDING INFORMATION TO FIREGEN SUPPORT

In order to expedite the troubleshooting of your FireGen Log Analyzer, here is a list of information that may help us:

1. The content of the last debug file (see the button on the On Demand or Schedule interface).
2. The report itself if you think that there is a problem with it. If no report is generated, let us know if there is an error message when you try to generate one or any other problem with FireGen
3. A small log sample (4-5 lines), as an attachment (in order to preserve the format).
4. The versions of the FireGen components: see the Help.../About... menu - (You may want to verify that you do have the latest versions - see http://www.eventid.net/firegen/pixdownload.asp?version=2.0dll).
5. The type of syslog server used and how it is configured (for example the Kiwi syslog server can be configured to format the log in various ways - not all of the formats are supported by FireGen).
6. The version of Windows, type of CPU and the amount of RAM in the computer used to run the analysis
7. The approximate size of logs that FireGen is supposed to analyze
8. Does the analysis work for On Demand but not for Schedule?
